A workstream can appear healthy while depending on an unresolved decision elsewhere. Make the connections visible early: information, access, deliverables and approvals all influence the delivery sequence.
Assign ownership
Every important dependency needs people who understand their responsibilities. Agree who provides what, who relies on it and how a change will be communicated. A shared view reduces surprises without requiring excessive reporting.
Review together
Dependencies change as delivery progresses. Use program conversations to review the overall sequence, resolve conflicts and make decisions that individual teams cannot make alone.
